Giro Pack Inc., Atlanta, has introduced its lightest package in its lineup of welded bags in the U.S. and Canada.

The Dual Handle consists of the mesh bag and a handle. At 3 grams of plastic on average, it weighs less than half of most Giro Pack product offerings, according to a news release.

The Dual Handle was designed with sustainability in mind. It’s a mono-product and composed of 100% of HDPE no. 2, which improves its recyclability, according to the company.

The bag is suitable for citrus, avocados, onions, potatoes and more. It’s compatible with existing GirBaggers and Speedline GirBaggers.
